Visually Impaired Crossing of Pedestrian Lights Should Be Facilitated.

With the help of " Ampel-Pilot ", your smartphone can recognize the red or green phase of a pedestrian car.

Hold the cell phone in landscape mode towards pedestrian traffic lights. This is drawn with a red or green box. In addition, a voice tells you whether the traffic light is red ("wait") or green ("it is green").

If you keep the cell phone wrong, it will vibrate and play a voice message.

The app was developed by 8 students at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences as part of a semester project.
