SMTS is an application that allows you to check information on the venue at the supermarket / trade show, news at the venue etc on your smartphone.

Beacon cast distribution machines installed in multiple locations within the venue will automatically receive useful information such as news from supermarket trade shows.

When you approach the beacon cast distribution machine, the information will be automatically distributed to the app.

The location of the beacon cast distribution machine is as follows:

Near the registration office (Hall1, Hall5, Hall8, Hall9, Hall10, Hall11)

●The Bluetooth function must be turned on for news distribution.

●When displaying information or downloading lecture materials, communication charges may be incurred as users may be charged as they may be automatically connected to the Internet.

This application utilizes technology developed by the University of Tokyo Nakao Laboratory, known as BeaconCast. BeaconCast is a protocol that can be used for normal data communication by adding data to a control signal and combining multiple beacons using encoding. Even in crowded situations such as in the event venue, it is possible to deliver information reliably to an unspecified number of nearby devices without authentication.
